Welcome to the Pilgrim’s PrayerFlag. I,like many of you, find among my family, circle of friends, students and strangers individuals who are struggling and suffering and in need our prayers. It is important for me to hold these individuals in my thoughts, prayers and meditations as I travel on my virtual pilgrimage. The prayerflag allows me to not only carry my prayers, but also those of other travellers.
I want this site to be a place where people can visit to leave a prayer(s) and view the prayer(s) of others. It helps to put our life into perspective when we hear of the struggles and joys of others. It is also helpful when we are in a joyful and positive place to do what we can to assist with their call for helps and share in their joy, praise and wisdom.
The prayers can represent any of the four types of prayers. I only ask that they be “life affirming” and respectful of all world wisdom traditions. Simple post your prayer request or thoughts as a comment and I will add it on a daily basis to the list of prayers for that week. Once a week (most likely on Sundays) a “clean” flag will be posted for the coming week. Prayers can be reposted for the new week by simply visiting the site. Further rules and clarifications will follow as they are needed. Have a wonderful blessed day and share the joy of life to all you meet!
